If you want to see all the Pit Lane thrills and be right at the start line/finish line, you will want to sit in the Main Grandstand. Turn 2 offers great views of Sonoma Valley. Make sure you bring sunblock, as there is no shade. For the Toyota NHRA Sonoma National drag races, you can sit on either side of the drag strip in the Main Grandstand or in the Tower Reserved Grandstand.
