Most state and national parks and trails are open daily from 6:00 am to one-half hour after sunset with limited access to water fountains and picnic areas. Social distancing should be observed, and visitors are expected to share the trails and warn others when passing.
Are Bay Area beaches open?
Bay Area beaches in Santa Cruz, Aptos, Monterey, San Francisco and Half Moon Bay are open for recreation, including swimming, surfing, kayaking, fishing, running and walking. Beaches are open from 6 am to 11 am and 5 pm to sunset every day, and social distancing is in place and monitored.
Are Petaluma restaurants open?
Yes, restaurants are open, but with proper precautions in place. Indoor and patio dining both are permitted, but visitors are asked to follow social distancing protocols and wear protective masks while entering.
