7th Annual Petaluma Music Festival Listen to awesome live music and feel good about it! All proceeds from the Petaluma Music Festival go to local public schools' music education programs. So go ahead and buy a souvenir T-shirt and poster. It's all for a terrific cause! With 14 bands on 3 stages, these epic performances will really be something special. Bands on the schedule include Highway Poets, The Mother Hips, Galactic, Brokedown in Bakersfield, Andre Thierry & Zydeco Magic, and Sister Sparrow & the Dirty Birds. Kids 12 and under are free. Be sure to visit the kids' zone, where they'll be entertained with a petting zoo, arts and crafts, glitter tattoos, hair tinsel, and face painting. A $20 wristband gets them in the jumpy houses, toddler inflatable and giant slide all day long. Guests are welcome to bring blankets, low chairs, and empty water bottles-fill them for free at the Festival. Other suggestions include sunscreen and hats, shoes for boogying, and cash and/or credit cards. No coolers, pets (except service animals), outside food or drinks are permitted. VIPs ($85 per ticket) get to hang out in a special shaded seating area and feast on hors d'oeuvres, beer and wine. Regular tickets are $40, and students (13 to 17) are $20. Gates open at 12 p.m. The Festival ends at 9 p.m. Parking is free in the Sonoma-Marin Fairgrounds lot. For more information, email firstname.lastname@example.org@petalumamusicfestival.org.
